Join our cast for a riveting and diverse evening of dance! The Principia College Performing Arts Department is proud to present its annual spring dance concert at McVay Centre for the Performing Arts. Dance faculty Erin Lane premieres a thrilling contemporary ballet work set to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons recomposed by Max Richter. Alumni and student choreographers present a wide variety of artistic work, one of which was composed by the student choreographer. Dance genres include: traditional and contemporary African and Afro-fusion, contemporary Indonesian, screendance, contemporary ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. Choreographers explore seasons of life through themes of friendship, dreams, self-reflection, turmoil, transformation, and tradition.
